Three-vessels includes mash tank, lauter tun and kettle/whirlpool tank. Four-vessels includes mash tank, lauter tun, boiling kettle and whirlpool tank. The capacity is bigger, the vessels is more. It is just in order to reduce the brewing time, improve the working efficiency.
